Braeutigam Orchards
Occasionally if I find a new place that was awesome, I like to spread the word about the business. Last week I wanted to take the kids peach picking, but I wanted to try out a new orchard. I went down our list of ‘Pick Your Own’ farms and found Braeutigam Orchards in Belleville , Illinois . We packed up a lunch and headed to the orchard. Braeutigam is actually just a few miles from the Eckert’s Farm in Belleville . We were excited to find out that not only were we able to pick peaches, but they also had blackberries, tomatoes and egg plant available for picking. This friendly family farm has a great play area for the kids that include goats and chickens. If you are looking for a new place to take the kids picking, try out Braeutigam Orchards. Just remember to call any orchard before making the trip to verify they are open for picking.Concert at Kangaroo Kids
It was wonderful meeting everyone at the ‘Star Studded Concert’ Wednesday at Kangaroo Kids. We had a great turnout and Lori put on a concert that kept all the kids dancing. If you were not able to meet this kidsinstl.com sponsored event, keep an eye out for the next one.
