Kids in the Kitchen
Many people will spend a ton of time this week in their kitchen basting, mashing and browning. Why not let your kids get in on the action and let them pick a signature dish to cook for the big Turkey Day. We have a great list of yummy recipes just for the kids. Here is one recipe from our list that would be a hit with the whole family. Stop by and see the whole list.
Over the Rainbow Slaw
1 ½ Cup Rainbow Veggie Slaw (packaged)
1 ½ Cup Cabbage (prepackaged or fresh)
½ Small Red Bell Pepper
½ Cup Golden Raisins
1/3 Cup Mayonnaise
1/3 Cup Yogurt – Plain or Vanilla
1 Tbs Honey
1 Tsp Cider Vinegar

Get cutting board and butter or plastic knife. With adult supervision slice and dice red bell pepper. In a bowl combine Slaw, cabbage, red pepper and raisins. In a small bowl blend yogurt, mayo, honey, vinegar and salt. Pour over veggies and mix well. Sprinkle with Sunflower seeds.
